X, I just get enough diet of your posts over here...
Rehabbing at this point is as much preventive as restorative.

I think the point was clear no matter who wants to rewrite it.
Romo would not be doing 3.5 hours a day of REHAB if he did not have off-season surgery.
Now I am repeating what was said. Like usual there is a contingency that flies out to rebut the comments.
But the fact remains the guy is working to get game reads at the start of the season.
But at this point he is rehabilitating. Ignore it as you like.

But what are the odds that he plays in all 16 games?
Most of the hand wringing in anticipation of a catastrophe surrounding Romo is simply the result of our fear-induced speculation. What gives me the most cause for confidence with regards to his successful return is the velocity and accuracy of his passing since he's returned to practice. His absences have totally been the result of pre-determined diligence in asserting preventive measures. By the time the regular season rolls around, I fully expect to see him as good as new and performing much better than he ever has before.

I'll feel better when he is actually practicing.
TwoDeep, did you expect Tony wouldn't be rehabbing at this point for some reason? Because this probably should have been expected by everybody.
Now, I wouldn't have guessed it'd be so time consuming, if you'd asked me, but then I don't think the four hours are necessarily unusual. You'd have to make a case that he's needing more rehab than expected to have a good point, and I don't think any found honestly have an idea what was expected in that regard heading into camp, so it's a tough case to make.
i think the point is very clear.
you don't like romo.
As I said, there will be those who immediately want to refute the information by clouding the comments.
Sorry the point was lost on you. Just toss out hater and feel better.

Neither a refutation, or clouding anything. I'm saying rehab was 100% expected and so should not be a surprise in any way. That's not refuting anything you're saying, as far as I can tell.
rehab means he had a back issue and is working past it. the fact he's still doing "rehab" now isn't a major OH MY GOD HE'S STILL INJURED! it just means he's being careful, taking it slow, and should be fine.
just like being said. if you have issues with him going this route, then you just have issues.
I keep rereading posts in the last page or two of the thread because it seems like I'm missing part of the argument. The point is really just concern with the amount of rehab Romo's reportedly doing? Or even the fact that he's doing rehab at all? Because the latter seems to fall int the 'duh' category. The former is more rehab than I'd have suspected, but then I didn't exactly have any frame of reference on that topic to begin with. If we're just talking about time he's at camp but not on the field, I guess I can see it. It seems like a lot, but I don't really know what's usual for this particular issue.
