I guess all the Romo pimping now is more valid since he had a TD pass in a real game, but it still was in garbage time. Even Randy Cross said the Texans probably weren't expecting us to throw at 27-6.

That throw to Hurd was kinda risky... could have easily been intercepted and ran back the other way. But, hell, the 'Boys get that with Bledsoe anyway.

Romo played ? They cut into the wash vs tenn game cause the cowboys game was a blow out.

darn, would have liked to see him play.

even though it was garbage time, there is a tangible sort of excitement that comes along with Romo.

He's young and exuberant--I can't wait til we switch from the tired old 'just doing my job' Bledsoe to Romo excitement

When/If Romo is our next QB this board will be saying how much he sucks.

Same here. When I read the box score and saw that Romo not only played, but threw a touch, I was a little ticked that I missed it.

Oh well, hopefully I'll be seeing his next one.

Everyone loves the backup QB but we forget how smallish he is,I'm not sure he can throw over a big line for 16 Games, I'm not sure he could get sacked 52 times like Bledsoe did last season and still take every snap, we forget sometimes how tough Drew is and how tough you need to be week in and out.

There was nothing 3rd & long about that touchdown pass.
No, but it was 3rd and 9 on the pass to Hurd. Also it was 3rd and goal on the 2 yard line. That's certainly passing territory there.

Well that 3rd and long was a blitz up the middle of the line and he did not take a sack. That was a good play.

Romo's pass to Hurd was a prime example of why he should be the starter. Romo is able to complete it, while bledslow in that same situation he would have been sacked. Romo would make our O-line look better than it is while bledslow makes our o-line look worse than it is.

Bledsoe would have likely been sacked on that TD pass as well.
