Right ... Romo didn't throw those 3 int's against the Commanders in his last "win and in" game. He didn't meltdown and sink the whole team on prime time tv. He never plays a role in the team doing bad.

That is a stat they never look at, games this team or games of substance. Not 3 games in which Romo pounded under 500 teams.

Wouldn't a "road record" consist of wins and losses, and not TDs thrown?

It is too painful for them to look at it... so they look away and act like it didn't happen.

This is when they will ignore Romos 70 passer rating and blame the defense, offensive line, wide receivers, play callers, heck they still blame TO,lol.

Now what are you babbling about?

If it helps, the team does have a winning record on the road with Romo at QB.
30-24
That is fairly unusual, but that's more of a team stat.

overall team record is 63-45

What's the teams record the past 4 years? with the great Romo playing QB? Something tells me it isn't a game above .500

changing the parameters, I see.
again

the thread was about the consecutive games that he has had TD passes on the road...so no time limit, just a career thing.
Someone mentioned the team stat of wins-losses and politely mentioned the team's career road record with him at QB.

Nobody discussed the team stat over the last 4 years except for you.

In any case, wins and losses are the most important team stat, but that is not what this thread was discussing.
1) it was discussing individual stats
2) won losses was not the topic

0 for 2

It's a useless stat. Come back to me when Romo takes the Cowboys to the playoffs... (which is never going to happen again).

Well, true, it is a team stat...I only asked because I clicked on the thread expecting a W/L record lol. Throwing 1+ TDs in 33 straight games is impressive regardless of home or road. Curious what the records are for consecutive road games with 2+ TDs.

Brady had 14 games.
He even had 6 road games in a row with 3 TDs--which is also the record.

Peyton has an active steak (reg season) of 3 games with 4 TDs

Meh. I'd rather have him in the discussion when it comes to playoff wins and appearances. You can keep these "stats". Do people even worry about these kind of stats? I've never heard any talking head or fans talk about consecutive TDs in a road game. Like that really means anything. It clearly does not translate to success.

I'm seriously not a Romo homer. I do like him but I realize all that is said about him. Some true, Some not.

But last year he had games where he put 30 and 48 points on the board, .. and lost.
Surely you understand football enough to realize that is not his fault.

He is not perfect but he cannot do it alone.

As a team? Our record is 30-34 the past 4 years, which isn't a shocker at all considering that we have had a good offense with a piss poor defense. Now lets see where our team is ranked during those same 4 years offensively and defensively. Offensively, over the past 4 years we're ranked on average 11th (10.50) in Points Scored and 10th (10.00) in yards produced. Defensively, over the past 4 years we're ranked on average 24th (24.25) in Points Allowed and 22nd (22.00) in yards given up.

If you can't see the reason why we're 30-34 the past 4 years, then there's no point in really trying to further explain it to you. Because if you don't understand it now, then you're pretty much just a lost cause.
