Romo was put in a tough spot when the Giants tied it up late in the 4th quarter. All the haters I'm sure were hoping for Romo to throw a pick and lose the game so they could come here all bowed up and ridicule him. All the ESPN talking heads were probably already writing there Romo sucks articles. Romo has heard all the critisisim of late and the pressure on his shoulders must've been enormous yet he calmly and cooly led the team down the field in a 14 play drive for the last second field goal. That was an extremely clutch performance by Romo as well as the rest of the team. And I never saw Jerry's face once during the game. Wonderful day.

You really think that fans who hold Romo accountable for the mistakes hes mad really want to see the man fall just so they can come post here?

But, yea Romo and the team had a nice bounce back game... Especially the secondary..

You know what? I am just going to say this, why the hell do Romo apologist insist on posting these threads about Romo after every victory? Why? Does it vindicate Romo some how? If we would have lost the game, there would have been a hundred Romo apologists that blamed every other player, not Romo. We win, it's all Romo and Romo to the rescue. Yes, Romo took the the team down the field and "helped" them win a game. Last I checked, Romo can't block, throw, and catch at the same time. Why do you feel like you have to qualify Romo's performance all the time. I don't get it? Can't we just enjoy the freakin' win without any agenda promotions? I really do not get it!

Meh, they are better than the Garrret lovefest threads.

Some people just love to give one person credit when really, it was a whole TEAM victory. The offense couldn't have done it without the defense. (The defensive score, without it we lose) And vice versa. Romo was good, the receivers made some great plays for him late on that last drive(dez, beasley, dare i say miles) Special teams was good. Punctuated by a Dan Bailey GW FG.

I don't think we beat a good football team IMO

That's exactly right but when the Cowboys lose, the haters always come here and blame Romo. Thus, this thread.

The Giants aren't a good football team. They're a mediocre team at best. But we beat a team who was playing for its season today and we did enough in all phases to win. I think the reason that people come in an talk about Romo in the wins is because there's so many people who throw Romo under the bus in every loss. It's probably overcompensation. Romo was alright today in bad conditions with the WRs having an overall case of the dropsies again.

Oh, and another thing. I am so damn proud of Romo, I am so proud of Dez, hell, I am so damn proud of this team (team effort). I am just a proud and happy Cowboy's fan right now. Yeah, I realize this good feeling might not last long, but my hatred for the Giants and my love for the Cowboys just got the best of me. I am sorry if I offended anyone.

His last 14 play drive saved the season. A drive where Romo was under intense pressure to perform. He was clutch and deserves credit.

Because the Romo bashers do the same after losses, perhaps.
Face it, there will be threads about Romo after EVERY game. Just so happens, we won and Romo did fine so here is this thread. Live with it.
