What, please pass me some of whatever you are smoking today.

So you find throwing god awful ints exciting?

I am sorry but I found watching aikman and emmitt smith a little more exciting.

It's not a popular answer, but I found Roy Williams to be the most exciting player that I've gotten to see play. The hits he laid on people earlier in his career were some of the best I've ever seen.

Troy ranked in the top five in Passing TD % just once in his career to Romo's 4 times. Troy ranked in the top 5 in Pass Interception % 3 times, and Romo has done so 2 times. So their numbers may have been better in this era, but that certainly doesn't show that they'd be better than Romo's.

Troy also played against some great defenses back in his era, and played when the rules were all set up to favor the defense.

Right but we are comparing where they ranked in the league, so the era they played in is irrelevant.

If numbers are all that count, then there were 3-4 guys during the 80s that should be considered better than Joe Montana.

Aikman played his best football when the stakes were the highest, something that isn't always on the stat sheets; whereas Romo plays his worst football when the stakes are highest.

I'm not in that crowd that would ever put Tony over some the HOFers.

But people should dig deeper into the numbers before generically saying Romo throws a ton of picks or plays terribly in crunch time.

His interception ratio is good and also performs at a very high rate in the 4th quarter and on 3rd downs.

The guy just needs a better line to help the run game and not make him feel he has to force the isse all the time just for us to score. A better D might help too.
