So after Romo's wonderful debut last week the detractors on this board have changed their collective tunes a bit. Now they're more focused on the adjustments Washington is guaranteed to have made after having a wealth of game film to dissect. The belief is strong that the Washington D will "have Romo's number" so to speak.

I'm here to tell you the exact opposite will happen Sunday. No matter how much game film you watch you still have to line up against a quarterback that makes quick decisions and loves to share the rock behind a newly inspired offensive line. I strongly believe Romo will shred that Washington D and put us 1 game closer to my 6-3 prediction.

What will be the excuse next week? What will be the weakness to hone in on where it pertains to Romo? Get them ready now. ;)

Two leaders will continue to quietly emerge. Terrell Owens and Tony Romo.

Actually, I hope they try to blitz Romo cause he will kill them. Their secondary is awful. If they miss with the blitz, our WR's will be running free and unlike Bledsoe, Romo will hit them in stride...

If they Blitz Romo early it could be an easy Blowout!!!

If they get to Romo it will be a small loss, unlike Bledsoe we shouldnt see 9 and 10 yard sacks.

If they dont get to Romo it will mean our Skill on their skill... No way Greg Williams exposes this teams secondary facing a 2-6 record!!!

as a Cowboy fan I will take that trade off any day of the week!

this game is already over... gettin ready for Zona!!!

Here in MD. on sports talk radio WTEM, they see Romo as a rookie inwhich he isn't. So they think blitzing him will confuse him. Romo is far from a rookie. He's been in this offense for 4yrs now and knows it very very well. That isn't a rookie. BP is always talking about how smart and prepared Romo is. Again, he's no rookie and will burn you if you make a mistake against him. I really like this kid!!!

Not to piss on the parade, but the Commanders are healthy and at home.
Expect a dogfight Sunday and this will not be easy!

Home? They've already lost there twice this year and 1 of those came against the Titans with a rookie QB who was 0-5 at the time. By the way, we're 6-3 at FedEx. You sure that isn't our home? Texas Stadium II!! In fact, we're gonna dress in the "home" lockerroom this time... That's our field!! :laugh2:

whats the difference between the defense the first 7 games and the defense you will be facing on sunday?

They are actually healthy now. For the first time in a couple weeks, we finally have both of our DT's healthy at the same time. Our cornersare back and ready to go.

You can keep overlooking this game. If we actually do show up on Sunday, it will make it that much more fun

Nobodys overlooking yall, we just feel like we're better then yall. Yall are 2-5 and we're 4-3, we've beaten you 15 of 18 games, we're 6-3 at FedEx. That's just a few reasons why we feel that way.. I could list more if you wish... By the way, make sure Rogers is on that corner, I really like his play..:laugh2:

Washington will be keyed up the first part of the game. The trick will be to avoid turnovers and keep it close until their initial emotion dissipates.

:hammer:

Get past the emotional rush which probably lasts for a quarter at best and GAME OVER.

This is a different team with Romo starting. I see us being just as fired up. I think BP along with Romo has them believing in themselves. They are much more confident with Romo leading the way. The D is even playing with more confidence now that Bledsoe isn't leaving them in bad situations all the time. I see us jumpin on them from the opening kickoff...

Good post. I also think this whole "now they have film on Romo" thing is a bit overdone.

How much "film" do opposing teams have on Brady and Manning and McNabb. About 7 or 8 years worth? What an advantage that must be! Yeah right.

If Romo continues to be the player we saw Sunday night, no amount of film watching is going to make a difference.

Oh jeez, I thought I had heard it all, but now comparisons to Brady and Manning?!

Not the point of my post at all. Go back and try again.

Clearly we don't know exactly what we have in Romo yet. I think most of us here are cautiously optimistic.

I just disagree with the notion that opposing defenses will suddenly be able to shut him down because they have some game film on him.

Maybe I'm wrong but I saw that more as a statement of how effective game film can be against a good quarterback rather than a direct comparison of Romo to Brady/Manning. Don't get it twisted.

Game film will put a good defense in position to possibly hold an offense down. However, there is such thing as in-game adjustments. I trust the Dallas offensive coaches over any adjustments made by the defensive coaches for the skins.

Hopefully the skins keep it close enough to entertain you for a quarter or so. :p:

Not to mention the Skins have been horrific in the 2nd half anyway this year, while we have done most of our damage in the 2nd half.
