Silliness. I ate my Romo crow long ago (on more than one occasion). Go pester someone else that hasn't eaten it.

Here is the possible downside, for discussion - has his willingness and effort to protect the ball over the last 5 games, which we all think is good, perhaps led to maybe too low a level of risktaking, which has led to fewer downfield throws and some of the lack of offense over this same period? Lets be honest, other than against the Saints, we've looked offensively anemic. So, do we maybe want to raise our level of risk a little in order to possibly raise our level of reward alot?

Romo has six games this season with at least 300 yards passing and no interceptions. That's the second-most in NFL history behind Tom Brady's eight in 2007.

The next-most this season is three, by Rivers, Rodgers and Schaub.

The previous high by any Cowboys QB was two in a season (by Romo in 2006 and 2008, Meredith in 1966 and Testaverde in 2004). Aikman did it only five times in his career, and Staubach did it only twice.

And that's with more than a few 3rd down drops by receivers that killed drives and kept him from getting even more yardage. It's not cautiousness--it's the fact that Roy and Miles are good for a couple of drops per game.

Of course, Miles, for his part, more than makes up for his mistakes.
