Yeah, but the optimism is for the future. Not this year. And it's getting to be an old song, the old "wait til next year" theme. Even if they make the playoffs (doubtful) they'll be sacrificial lambs in the 1st round.

Yeah! Who would've ever said that 4-5 weeks ago???

I think the biggest problem is the defense. They dominate at times. But the lack of a consistent pass rush and a very shaky pass coverage along the back line of defense have killed this team against the better opponents.

He played okay for a rookie and nearly gave us the win on that last drive. And he made the pass to TO that should have been a TD. But he wasn't consistant in the 2nd half and we weren't moving the ball well enough.
