Romo's last drive

A foot to his right? One doesn't extend their arm fully extended out, away and behind their moving path if the football was only a foot to one's right. The picture is clear enough to show McFadden's arm fully extended. One can even see his white colored glove attached to his extended arm.
We didn’t use Elliot in that game did we?

He got as much support as Dak gets right now. Now that he is gone lots are singing his praises. I remember when Romo played there was page after page of Romo threads. Most were not in his favor. Same holds true now. Looks like JJ likes Dak and unless something drastic changes he will be the starter for years to come.
Right, some of the things people said about Romo were pathetic.

Watch the replay again, brother. What you're seeing is more of him reaching toward where the ball is coming from, rather than waiting for it to arrive, which is what good receivers do. He does reach slightly to his right, but not much.

I know, I'm sorry if you thought I was saying that. I was adding fuel to the fire.
No, I know you weren't saying that. I just wanted it to be clear that my intention wasn't to say that Dak makes worse throws, just that this one wasn't nearly intercepted. :)

I watched that video slowed down multiple times. From that angle you can't tell the ball is a foot away. Yes, he extends his arm but you can't really see him making a catch with that hand. I think the ball is more on-target than you are seeing.

Hey what’s this league I have been seeing advertised? Has anyone watched any of it?
Are you serious, or just joking? If you're serious, several of us have watched the AAF. It's not bad. Faster pace, less interference from the officials, and lower talent level.....and Moose is the GM of the San Antonio Commanders.

I was serious. Just bought a new TV and surround sound. Going to rewatch A Cowboys game (we won) this weekend and then check out the live action. Saw it advertised.

People will stop drooling over Romo when Dak shows that he can play at the same level that Romo did.
That’s absurd, people treated Romo just like they do Dak until the final few years of his career. Also, if you compare the first few years of each QB, Dak is very close and even better than Romo in some statistical areas.

Regardless, it’s pointless, not only does Romo have NOTHING to do with this team anymore but you want to use a guy who won a handful of playoff games during his entire career here as the benchmark? Lol, good stuff. I’m no Dak fan boy but I’ll give more credit to the guy who got rookie of the year, has been to three playoff games in his first 3 years, one of which was lost in the final seconds to one of the best QB’s of all time and the other to a team that went to the Super Bowl.

Some people treated Romo poorly his entire career, I was not one of them.

You parade Dak for winning a couple playoff games in his first years. Do you really think the talent levels are the same for when Romo started as to the teams Dak played for?

Parading or telling facts? Parading is starting threads on a weekly basis about a guy who has NOTHING to do with this team anymore and glorifying him for winning a few playoff games.

Romo had good teams and bad teams, stop the excuses. Throughout his career he had a HOF receiver and TE. He also had a RB that led the league in rushing. He also had the number 5 overall defense IIRC. No team is perfect, they all have flaws but it’s not like Romo didn’t have opportunities.

Next excuse...coaching. It’s always everyone’s fault but Romo. Must be nice to be the starting QB of a team for so long with such minimal results, have zero accountability, a cult like following that can’t stop salivating over him, get bashed throughout most of his career and then held to a god like status when he retires.

We’ll be going on 4 years without Romo having anything to do with this team other than eating up money and some of you can’t let go.

Definitely not his best ever, but it showed the difference between being able to run the offense efficiently, and whatever it was Dak was doing in that game.
Mark Sanchez played most of that game. Dak played maybe 2 drives

Who gives a _____ about a meaningless end of game drive 3 years ago? Really?!

Dak played the first quarter, and did zilch. Sanchez took over after Romo's drive and did much worse than zilch.

Romo really didn’t do much either. The bulk of the drive was a long run by McFadden and a long pass interference penalty. Nice TD pass though. I think the Cowboys just treated it as a throwaway game with the primary goal of making sure starters didn’t get injured.
