It's meaningless compared to losing the game, but some people have noticed that Romo is playing pretty well so far this December. With today's game -- his third straight with multiple TD passes, zero interceptions and a rating above 110 -- Romo raised his career rating from 95.1 to 95.8, moving him past Phillip Rivers and Peyton Manning and into second place all-time in passer rating.

Here's the order after today's games --

1. Steve Young, 96.8
2. Tony Romo, 95.8
3. Phillip Rivers, 95.3
4. Peyton Manning, 95.1

Now, if he could only start winning in December. Or convince Garrett to call a quarterback sneak.

I was yelling for the same thing.

If only he could kick field goals too...

He throws some of the ugliest flutter balls, through several today. He is a good QB, but will never be great under this coaching staff, may never be.

I'd rather have Garrett removed and Romo call the plays. Not really on the latter, but he seems to do better than Garrett, which isn't saying much I guess...

Maybe Folk should hold and Romo should kick.

I dont know Folk might complain about the way Romo is kicking them and how it's throwing off his holding ability

Thanks for posting this Adam. As each game goes by, the Romo haters and doubters just look dumber and dumber. If they actually want to blame these December losses on this player, they look even more clueless.

Adam, there are some people here who have informed me that we're not supposed to notice stuff like this.

Its a shame Romo ended up in a team with an out of his mind owner and a gutless head coach... the cowboys would be better off with no head coach at all...

It just kills me that we're wasting this guy's career when it took us this long to find a good QB. We're just wasting it.

I feel the exact same way... but the problem is Jerry Jones, the guy can't make a good decision to save his life...

The only way Jerry Jones can get it right is to do the exact opposite of what ever he is thinking... his last good decision was made when he hired Jimmy Johnson and he screw that up too...

Steve Young was a lot better than I ever wanted to give him credit for.

I feel sorry for Romo, having to play with all of these scrubs. It is like having a probowl QB on an expansion team.

Just wasting his talent.
