Good lord. Let's say he plays day 1. He might make it through a few series. He's going to have to take hits. If he throws the ball away every time some one gets close there is no sense in him playing. Last season he came back to soon, probably never should have. Does no one remember what a disaster that was?

I wouldn't be shocked if he plays week 1 just listening to the interview.

He's never been the type of guy to remain cautious in these situations and he tried to go back in the Seattle game.

He said the strength came back quick after he got hurt.... Garrett is already not ruling him out.

He can say whatever he wants, just like he and the team did last year, and every other time he's gotten injured. Their words, hopes, and intentions don't mean anything.

If he feels he can play and can physically do the job– then he'll play.

If he can't take the pain nor can he do the job physically then he won't.

Punctured lung?

If he feels fine I think he plays.

If Garrett rushes Romo back into service on week 1 he needs to be immediately fired. You have to consider how much it would hurt the team rather than help it.

Of course, it could really be Jerry saying this and Garrett is just the messenger.

I don't think so. The FO wants to see what they have in Dak. Romo will be forced to sit no matter what he says.

Again, I'll take that bet. Name your stakes. It's not happening.

We'll have to wait and see.

If he feels fine then I don't see him missing unless it's forced on him.

None of us know how bad the fracture is anyway.

This really isn't funny any more. Tony's got to think about life after football. I don't want to see him be some invalid. Playing with broken bones, busted collarbones, punctured lungs. It all adds up after awhile.

They mean more than the words of people here.

I don't see it being up to him, or any injured player. He said he "felt fine" Thursday night too so again we see what that's worth.

Doctors know. And they knew about his collarbone last year when everyone else wanted to rush it. And we all know who ended up being right and wrong about that too.
