Did anyone notice how immediately after he would throw the ball, he would jerk his right hand away towards his body (so he doesn't get his pinky hit)? He was not following through on his throws. This would explain his overthrows, and horrible play overall...at least most of it.

I noticed that especially on that last INT. I hated his release yesterday. I just never felt safe about him throwing with his release.

If he's worried about his pinky being hit, then he should've kept the darn splint on! He had gotten to the point where it wasn't hindering him, so why take it off if you're not confident you can stay healthy without it?

It's POSSIBLE that his pinky was still sore, OR that the cold effected his throws which were high, but it's still on him. Gotta come through: he didn't.
