His injuries are on him. He tries to spin out of trouble every time and when he gets caught in mid spin, he tries to brace himself with his left arm. The defender comes down on top of him with his arm extended and pop goes the collarbone. He needs to learn not to spin if it's too late.

Crawford's huge sack at the 1 came on 3- man rush too....it happens.

I know what you are saying is true, but you may wish to review the tape. McFadden is blocking the defender at the line who eventually takes Romo out. We don't stop the defender because he's not our assignment? I really cannot figure this out. I would love to hear the OL explanation on this.

Regardless, the original poster is right. The best O line in football has a difficult time blocking three guys.

Interesting point, I'm wondering if a timed based offense like the West Coast would help him out?

I love Romo as much as anyone but he needs to work on getting the ball out faster to preserve himself. Problem is, it isn't natural for him, he likes to hold on to the ball to make stuff happen.

So he gets it out quicker to invisible guys who aren't open and he stays healthy and loses every game 30-6.

I don't think Romo accepts that option

In our offensive system, the only way we can actually make any kind of big play is if Romo holds onto the ball and lets the long developing routes actually develop. And even then, a lot of the time it's just him improvising which leads to our offense actually being explosive.

With the atrocious pass blocking, Romo would've never made it out of the Skins, Jets, or Bills game. Since the Garrett era, we have zero answer for the blitz and the Jets and Bills are probably the two most blitz heavy teams.

Well that is on the offensive game plan. We need more quick passes. It seems like we have the majority of our receivers always running 10 or more yards down the field with a single check down. Watch Brady or even Eli Manning, they are in offenses that emphasize quick throws and you rarely see either quarterback taking big hits.

Travis Frederick pretty much said last week that Romo pushes the OL to the brink with the way he holds the ball.
