Not sure if you're serious about some of your "rankings" or what. I just looked back at your 2014 rankings.

Jeff Mathews and David Fales in your top 5 at QB?
Lache Seastrunk and Storm Johnson as your top 2 RBs?

You seem to throw a lot against the board and when you're lucky enough to have something stick, you try and make a point of it.

Never 'throwing stuff against the wall". That's the mark of someone w/o adequate credentials. I have a playing, coaching and consulting background in football. Not to sound like 'that guy' but I know the game and know how to evaluate.

No offense, but there are thousands of "that guy" out there. And that's not even counting the real "experts" that are scouts for NFL teams. And even the real experts get it wrong. And they have access to coaches, background checks, interviews etc.

I'm not saying you don't have an eye for football. Honestly I never heard of you or your evaluations until today. From the little I saw, it doesn't seem to align with what the NFL world sees. And to pronounce Ron Fields as being a better football player than Byron Jones doesn't help with that.

Funny part is that a lot of NFL scouts never played the game. I'm not saying I'm 100% on point, I thought Dontari Poe - based on his Memphis film - would be a bust. Totally wrong on that one.

Also, if everyone's thinking the same, then no ones thinking at all.

And tape doesn't lie, IMO Fields is a better football player than Jones.

Ron Fields did absolutely nothing in the game accept get abused.

He missed tackles, got juked by a WR for a touchdown. Gave up a long touchdown to DJ Ward, the 4.66 speedster.

He's barely an acceptable football player at the level he did play.

Great cherry pick! That also says "highlights" but go ahead and cherry pick some more!

It wasn't a cherry pick. I picked the one game where they actually played a decent team. It doesn't really matter. I'm over the Ron Fields "hype". How about we see if he even makes it to camp before going any further?

As a football fan, I really appreciate what you're doing. I think you're wasting your time responding to critics who sit back and take cheap shots at people but never have the balls to put themselves out there. Please keep posting.

Dude why do you even care? Because he doesnt evaluate like you? I love all different types of insight from different people. It gives more prospective and things to look for. Not sure why you have to attack the guys opinion so aggressively.

Keep it up Diggy!

Player evaluation is not an exact science.

You may ridicule someone that has Fields as a 1st round talent but he actually goes undrafted...

Well theres plenty of time where the opposite happens. Player has a UDFA grade, yet goes out and plays in probowls. ala romo, austin and gates.

Seems to me back in the day...Everson Walls measureables were not the greatest either.....but......he played the ball as good as anyone. As Landry said--he gives some plays up, but he takes quite a few away also.

Hope the same story fits.

Yeah, one of the top WRs in D2 and he went undrafted. And they played on the same team.

I guy at that level has to look like a man among boys to have a shot. That's the trait. Or traits like speed, strength, size. You know, measurables. Which he has none of.

Sure, guys like this can and have made teams. But it's a loooooong shot.

the irony of your name and this comment..... hopefully he surprises...

He is a corner. If you follow tarheel football like I do, then you would know he converted to Safety to help the team. His best spot is CB. If you ask him he'd tell you the same.

He's a safety here. That's all I care about. If he thinks he can play corner at this level, good luck.

That is not a complete game, it is highlights of the opponent SFA. Any defense is going to look bad in the highlights of the opponent. It is impossible to know what happened on that TD without the All-22 view.

Try watching complete games. He was a terrific player in college. I'm not saying that translates to the NFL, but he was terrific in college. He does lack deep speed.
