DC.com still doesn't even have any of the rookies listed. Any word on what number Spencer will get? Stanback? Any info is appreciated.

Somebody posted on this board that Spencer was given the number 49. Doubt he will be able to keep it once the season starts cause somebody said linebackers aren't allowed wear any number in the 40s.

LBs can wear 40s for preseason, but not the regular season. Years ago Brian Bosworth made a big stink about not being able to wear his college #44.

I'm hoping he's going to get #59.

It'll be a good omen.

And I'm thinking Stanback will get a teen number instead of an 80s number. Something tells me he's going to be working at WR and QB.

I like 19 on him.

Stanback was 4 in college... Didn't Miles Austin change to something in the 80s? So maybe Isiah can take over the 14.

The rookies haven't even reported yet. Why would they have numbers?

Because they usually have the jersey of our first round pick for sale at the site. They haven't put it up yet this year.

Yeah, Barrow was allowed to wear 48 because all the 50s were taken.
