Frederick: Leadership is ‘a process.’ First, be somebody ‘they can trust, they believe in in the weight room, they believe in on the field.’

Frederick said he took only a few reps at guard in some individuals. Rest of the time was at center. 'I really studied hard to play center.'

Frederick says his and Callahan’s Wisconsin backgrounds will help. ‘He kind of led into the system of the offensive line there.'

Frederick still has his beard. Joked about it: ‘Yeah, babies usually cry when they see me. ... And the women, obviously, run away.’

Callahan on Jerry’s thinking that Frederick’s size buys ‘extra half-a-second’ for Romo: ‘There’s some validity to that statement.’

Terrance Williams joked he's going to get some rest between plays as a pro. Not used to that at Baylor.

Tom Orsborn ‏@tom_orsborn 45m
Quote of Cowboys minicamp: C Travis Frederick saying, he looks forward to "legally beating someone up" on the football field.

Rowan Kavner ‏@KavnerDC 17m
On Wilcox: "When you watch him play, you’re like, ‘Oh God, he’s going to kill somebody,’ and that’s what I like about the young man.”

David Moore ‏@DavidMooreDMN 9m
More Frederick: "It would be pretty illegal just to beat you up, but on the field I get a chance to do that."

Cowboys rookie WR Terrance Williams said the best NFL advice he got from Robert Griffin III was to just be himself. pic.twitter.com/IUGFm06Hue

Calvin Watkins ‏@calvinwatkins 7m
Rookie WR Terrance Williams said he'll work on KR/PR in the 2nd practice today.

Rookie RB Joseph Randle will have a cast on his rt hand for 6 weeks.

Jon Machota ‏@jonmachota 3m
Jason Garrett said Travis Frederick did a "nice job" at center this morning. "He's a long way off," Garrett said. "He's got a lot to learn."

Jason Garrett said #Cowboys will carry 4 quarterbacks through off-season and training camp.

Jason Garrett on how Monte Kiffin looked this morning: "Kiff looked great ... I love being around the guy."

Carlos A. Mendez ‏@calexmendez 1m
Garrett says Ron Leary 'flashed' a little today. Has improved.

RG will be an interesting battle in TC. I think Parnell is the RT for sure. My fingers are crossed for Leary, would love Brandon Moore, but don't think that is going to happen.

Smith-Livings-Fred-Moore-Parnell would be my dream scenario, but I get the feeling they are trying to save cap space to extend Lee. Which is cool with me.

A Lee extension likely has little impact on this year's cap

They want it to.

In those first few quotes in the OP, two different draftees were mentioned as doing/wanting to do bodily harm to others on the football field.

Thumbs way, way up.

I'd be ecstatic about that. Not a dominate oline but could be a very good one

The scary thing about that line would be the inexperience from center out to right tackle. If they went with those five, I wonder if they'd move Livings to RG to put someone with some experience between Fred and Parnell.

I'd love it if Leary is ready to start.

Do they give tests to players that ask questions like...do you prefer to read a book, write poetry, smell a rose, or legally inflict pain?

maybe not directly, but any money you can save this year carries over to next year which is huge considering we are already over for next year and thats without many of the guys who will be starting this year

Monte Kiffin: "Everybody's on the same page. You may hear this or hear that, I just know I've been impressed ever since I've been here."

Terrance Williams on the Cowboys' offensive pace: "I finally get a break, instead of running from hash-to-hash, I can get into a huddle now"

Terrance Williams on his high school, college and pro career keeping him in Texas: "It feels good to never leave Texas, and I hope I don't."

Terrance Williams: "I try to keep my distractions down to a minimum. I'm good with just talking with [a couple close friends]."

Ideally they would like to have enough available so towards the end of this season they can go ahead and extend him so that it is used in this years cap.
