How much more talent is this team going to have next year?

Not to overlook what we could get in later rounds, but we have our 1st-4th picks.

Then we have returning players who were injured last year.

I probably have said this for the last couple years, but I really think its coming to fruition. We have so much talent on the team that it's really going to be difficult to make this team.

I would say a few players are obviously on the bubble. But for the most part I can see us having the same team next year.

Roy Williams
Flozell Adams
Marc Colombo?
Ken Hamlin
Mike Hamlin?
Pat Watkins
Sam Hurd
Any backup OLinemen except Free
Marion Barber
Deon Anderson
Juinor Siavii
Marcus Spears
Jason Hatcher/Stephen Bowen? RFA?
Bobby Carpenter

Roy Williams - Stays. I would be shocked if he's gone. Not ready to admit he is a bust just yet. After 2010 though ... we'll see.

Flozell Adams - Starting top tier left tackles don't grow on trees. He stays here another year or two. If Free shows he can play LT and Brewster shows he can play RT then Flo will be gone after next year. Otherwise, we'll have him in 2011 also.

Marc Columbo - Depends on Brewster and his development. If he shows he can play then start Free at RT and Brewster can backup.

Ken Hamilin - Probably still here. Unless we get a ballhawk in the draft.

Mike Hamlin: Stays.

Pat Watkins - Without Keith Davis, he became our best special teamer. Stays.

Sam Hurd - Bye

Backup OL - Only Free and Brewster stay.

MBIII - should be gone, but probably stays.

Deon Anderson - Gone. Phillips in the H-Back role makes Anderson unnecessary.

Junior Siavii - Played solid this year. Would like someone a little better but like starting LTs, 3-4 NT don't grow on trees. I know he would start, but he's atleast been solid in spot duty to give Ratt a breather.

Marcus Spears - Stays if he takes Igor money instead of Canty money. From everything I've read from scouts and NFL insiders is that he quietly had a very productive year.

Hatcher/Bowen - Bowen gets signed to a few year deal. Hatcher to a 1 year tender, basically to give him one more shot before he's a free agent.

Bobby Carpenter - Bye if his contract is up. I'm pretty sure it is. He was solid this year, but with all of our rookie linebackers coming back plus draft picks, we don't need him. He'll sign in Miami.

I agree we will have a lot of talent that won't make the 2010 team. Perhaps Jerry/Stephen makes some calls and we see a couple of trades on draft weekend. It's better than letting players go for nothing when we make our cut to 53 in September.
