RotoTimes Rumor: Pacman Jones will be reinstated by the NFL Thursday afternoon

RotoTimes.com sources have learned that Pacman Jones will be reinstated by the NFL Thursday afternoon. Jones missed all of the 2007 season while under suspension for violating the league's personal conduct policy.

Our View: We figured it was just a matter of time before Pacman was given the green light. He'll provide a big boost to Dallas' secondary and special teams.

I would say that it is not outside the realm of possibility that he is reinstated tomorrow.

But I would also say that this comment from rototimes does not make it one more iota more likely in my mind than I would have otherwise thought.

sounds like Rototimes just guesses on this stuff. pacman met with Goodell last week and is supposed to meet with him again. so since Goodell already has plans to party with Belicheat on Friday, Rototimes guessed Thursday.

I could see this being true because just like the trade it's just a matter of time at this point. However, this is the site that had PacMan headed to Dallas like 10 times before it was 'official'.

The only way Pacman doesn't play this year is if he screws up again. I'd be willing to bet a large sum of money this was ironed out some time ago. I could be wrong but I don't think so. The best way for the NFL to put Pacman behind them is for him to return to the field and be a positive. Makes everyone look good. It won't hurt the NFL much for Pacman to tank but the other way is the best.
