I would've like to have seen Roy have the chance to make the play. My neighbor referees high school football games and he told me that there was no excuse for the back judge to be in that position on a ball like that.
Like I've said before, it didn't cost us this game. But it still sucks and I've grown sick and tired of terrible officiating. In the Jax game, the Witten "push off" was pretty tick tack and inconsistent. At least I could *see* the reasoning behind that flag. But in the Philly game, how they missed illegal contact by Trotter on Witten on the Lito INT is beyond me. Then they just stunk up the joint throughout this entire game.
The sad thing is that the head ref for this game was the same one that overturned the Polamalu INT in the Colts playoff game last year. Not sure why this guy keeps getting to referee big games.
