In the first half he played well, but he disappeared in the second half. I still believe he is a good weapon for us. We have lots of good weapons.

He did what was needed of him and he had a DECENT game in a WIN.

Usually good Roy games and Wins don't go together. So I think he is improving and learning how to be a Winner.

Geez, ya think the freakin lead had something to do with the play calling in the second half?

All the receivers made a contribution today.

The teams in front of dallas from here to the Super Bowl will have to cover all of them now.

Romo completed passes to eight different players. ;)

Carpenter steps up in the playoffs too, he was good in his rookie campaign when he started against Seattle and he was good in coverage and recovered two fumbles today.

Roy just cant win. He played good, no caveats necessary.

how did he disappoint in the 2nd half?

oh and please do not bring up the pass that went through his hands.....cause that was a flippin missile. it was so hard and fast that it almost took off Samuel's head.

It's unfair to say he disappeared. he was obviously a big part of the gameplan and made some very nice plays. With a big lead, you want to cheap the clock moving. You call more runs and Romo looked for Austin and Crayton on big 3rd downs because he's more comfortable with them. A few more games like this one and Romo might get his faith in RW11 back and RW11 might get some confidence back.

I think a lot of it was Dallas using the second half to run more. Romo had over 200 yards passing in the first half, but only threw for about 50 more in the second.

Williams did his job in establishing the other WR position as a threat. Teams can't take him for granted, which makes it tougher to defend all of our weapons.

when the game first started you sort of got hope for positive things moving forward

then after he slipped on a potential td screen and almost got romo picked off it was like all the good he did was erased somewhat

as a result of those plays no doubt was cleared. your still wondering what to expect from him next week.

i dont know which roy im gonna see next week. hopefully for our sake its good roy

I didn't say he disappointed. I said he disappeared.

Yes, there is one. There was the pass that went through his hands when he was the hot read on the blitz and didn't turn his head around fast enough for the ball. Luckily Samuel didn't expect it so it bounced off his head. If he hadn't missed the ball so cleanly and tipped it up more in the air, that's probably an interception.

He did run a couple of nice routes in the first half and made a couple of good catches. I really hope he is starting to turn it around but lots of work still necessary.

He needs to do something in the offseason to work on his balance. He just fell to the ground on one of those WR screens in the red zone. On another one of those earlier in the half he ran down the field effectively but just looked kind of awkward. He looks alot different than Miles who runs with power and body lean but maybe that is just the way Roy runs.

Anyhow, that was the best Romo-RW have looked all year. Like I said, I really hope we see more of this the rest of the playoffs. The Vikings got big holes in the secondary and there is a good chance Roy will be open most of the next game so it is good to get his confidence up.

It was exciting to see Roy play well this game, but then the bad Roy showed up. He didn't realize he was the hot route on the blitz and was late to get his head around and it nearly resulted in a pick.

Earlier he stopped on his route in the end zone which might have been a TD if he had kept running. Romo did not look happy afterward. We kicked a field goal.

Roy had a good game today, clutch 3rd down catches. The only thing i didn't like is the way he holds the ball after the catch, it looks so easy to knock it out

Actually, he appeared to see the defense in the middle of the field and begin to fade toward the corner.

He had the defense beat, though, and should have continued over the middle instead of reading that he needed to adjust the route.
