Getting a certifiable nutjob who was dividing the team out of the lockerroom?

Why is it so hard to comprehend that getting rid of TO goes way beyond stats?

You're pretty much just assuming that was the reason to cut him, we've not heard any player, coach or Jerry give that as the reason

the official line is that he was old and washed up

I didn't know there was an official line considering he hasn't even been officially released.

And I wouldn't read into the official line anyway .... the official line a few months ago was that TO was a perfect angel in the lockerroom and the media was making all this stuff up.

bottom line is you really don't know **** about what went on but you're passing off your assumptions as facts cause it's what Werder said

Im basing it off of common sense. Jerry paid TO a ton of guaranteed money that he's never going to get back. He also put his personal pride, ego and reputation on the chopping block. Having to make this move is the absolute worst case scenerio for Jerry, and he didn't do it just because TO's production had dropped a little. It might have played a factor, but it wasn't the main reason ... not by a longshot.

I think my logic is more sound and objective than the irrational manlove displayed by TO's admirers.
