I m really starting to see him and Romo getting on the same page now. He's starting to build alittle chemistry with Romo now, and has found a nice role on this offense. I don't think their there yet completly but there close. I think Roy will have a nice game this week. Im expecting some big things from him the rest of the way. And As I predicted earlier in the season, I could see him ending with at least 10td's after our finale against the eagles.

I agree. I like the matchup with our WR's vs the Saint's CB's. The Saints have a couple undersized corners which Roy and Austin could take advantage of.

Translation: Garrett will run the ball 20 straight plays and when he decides to throw once, it will end with a pass deflection that lands in the hands of Leonard Davis who then fumbles the ball and Sharper takes it back to the house.

Yea he's finally turning into a decent #2 receiver.

Why are guys so quick to label someone a #1 or #2 lol? Does it really matter? Do Cardinals fans worry about who's the #1 between Boldin and Fitz? I just want a reliable receiver. He's becoming more reliable by the week which is a nice first step. Maybe I expect too much out of Roy but i'd like to see him get some throws where he has to make a play for the football. Especially when he's single covered. He did it in Detroit. Unless he's on the downside of his career i'd like to see if he can still do it.

Have no ideal they do not line up as a #1 or #2 they line up in x,y and z and on any given pass play the ball could be coming to you since they are all sent out on the routs. RW and Tony have been making good strides and I expect that will continue.

Positive posts about Roy W.. Who'd of thunk it.

I hope he doesn't have any miscues Saturday, the "tar and feather" group will be back in force.

He starting to get better.. He still won't get the credit around here because posters are too damn stubborn to admit they are wrong.

As a UT grad I have always liked RW. I had high hopes when we picked him up. I still have hope for him because IMO RW is not being used correctly. Slants, slants and more slants, try it.

LoL, I agree with this. Who care's who's the 1 or the 2. As long as we have a few guys that can get the job done it doesn't matter.

I would love to see Roy and Miles both play lights out in the same game this Saturday night. It would mean Romo is having a great game and would open things up for the running game and Witten. I hope the O-Line has one of those dominant blocking games that they have on occasion. The timing couldn't be better.

yes, very encouraging in the last couple of games. after watching RW at UT, you know the guy can play...just a matter of making the best use of his skills. too bad it might have taken half a season too long for the chemistry to develop.

what kills me about the RW trade is that Jerry could have simply waited until the end of last season to sign him.

long term, I think he's going to be a solid contributer (assuming they don't blow up the offense in the offseason) :)

:lmao: I knew the mention of tar and feathers would get your attention.

Now if the offense puts up more than 35 points on the Saints and they still lose are you going to "tar and feather" Wades' defense?

I'm counting on holding them to 24, you get Opie to score at least 25 and we'll be fine...;)

The only way in which it wouldn't matter is if every player on the team was paid the same salary.

But players are paid based on their perceived worth to the team. So when we pay a guy as much money as we paid Roy Williams, a certain level of production is expected. The #1 and #2 labels, in my opinion, simply come from measuring Williams' productivity relative to the rest of the receivers on the team, which is perfectly legitimate.

Like I said the distinction between #1 and #2 would not really mean much if every player was paid the same amount of money, as it'd be inconsequential. But when you have a lot of money invested in a specific guy, you hope he produces at a certain level, as you have only a limited amount of money to work with.
