This is what Owens is capable of and you don't have to throw it 20 yards down field, like this play, for him to do exactly what he did right here.

doesn't count because those Cincy defenders have faster 40 times so he must not have really scored... it was trick photography.

We didn't bring Roy Williams to Dallas for his speed, we brought him in here for his Playmaking ability.

At one time the guy led the NFC in catches.

I agree, he isn't slow. He isn't quick, but he's not slow. You don't run 10.5 100m in high school if you're slow.

I do think he needs to get in truly top shape with Jurazsic this offseason, though. Which might include losing a couple of pounds.

nice video but good grief they make you wait for ever for it to load:)

btw, we can only count passes where they man press him at the line right:)

And even on that play it looks like hes going slow but yet the guy behind him looks like he is going faster.

Some tall guys just have longer strides but move just as fast if not faster (like Roy).

Roy is a strider with big feet.

That should tell you all you need to know...

Perhaps a foot reduction as well.

RW11 problem has never been his athletic ability. His problem is that he is always hurt. He was again last year and if this trend continues he will be a bust.

thats the 2 big keys with roy williams, his injury problems in the past and his long striding tendecies.

Roy Williams wr must work hard this offseason, hopefully some of T O's work tendecies will rub off on Roy Williams.

Oh goody. When do we get to see these plays? Hopefully in 2009, right?

Playing in a Mike Martz offense.

Don't forget the sloppy route running that many have noted.

He is starting to remind me of Alvin Harper. Capable of making highlight reel plays, but far from a chain moving number one receiver.

the main thing to me on offense, wade phillips must let garrett if he hasnt already, put in more of a game plan and spend more time in practices working, studying film, and having the players as well as the coaches to be accountable.

He was a #1 in college and every year before he got to Dallas.

So where lots of players.

and every year before he got to Dallas.

He was not the number one receiver in Detroit when Calvin Johnson was healthy. In fact, he only started ten games last year and nearly outperformed Williams even then.

Johnson was Detroit's go-to receiver from opening day this year. It took him just one short year to make Williams expendable. Sorry, but true number one WRs are not that easy to push out the door.

Last year Calvin became Detroit's #1 WR, every year prior it was Roy.

i don't think he is slow he just has those long strides. He is though more of a playmaking WR than a speed WR.
