Roy doesn't have to be superman to make a possitive impact on the team. He will be a go to guy when needed that will compliment the other receivers. It will benefit the TEAM if the ball is spread out amongst many weapons vs 1 super Roy. He will work out just fine. Give him a chance to shine.

Oh goody. When do we get to see these plays? Hopefully in 2009, right?

Playing in a Mike Martz offense.

We did a bad job getting TO, and Crayton the ball too and they've been in this system for years.

We have to get our WR's more involved in this offense instead of telling them to run off defenders down field and letting Witten / Barber catch the ball under neath.

Johnson was Detroit's go-to receiver from opening day this year. It took him just one short year to make Williams expendable. Sorry, but true number one WRs are not that easy to push out the door.

It didnt seem that hard for both San Fran and Philly to not only push TO out the door, but to throw him out on his head. Does that mean he isnt a number 1 receiver either?
Trying to keep a guy that wants huge money and wants to go back to texas isnt easy. Especially when you know he was going to leave at the end of the year anyway. Combine that with a winless season and someone offering you a 1st and a 3rd rounder for him at its a no brainer.

So now that i just destroyed your point..what else do you have?:)

So where lots of players.

He was not the number one receiver in Detroit when Calvin Johnson was healthy. .

I'm not sure if seen Cal Johnson play, but IMO, very few receivers would be #1 ahead of him. Give him Warner, Brady, or really almost any starter that is not in Detroit and he is very close to Fitzgerald or Moss...and maybe better in a couple of years.

Its been said many times that he is the most talented WR to ever come out of the draft.

Detroit also busted on Charles Rogers and Mike Williams.

Roy Williams was a heck of a receiver for them when they couldn't do anything but screw that position up.

put in the work it takes so you won't have that dumb look on your face everytime you break the huddle.

I sincerely hope that's what he's doing right now! No doubt the foot injury played a part in his performance.

Same could be said about Anquan Boldin and Larry Fitzgerald. I guess Q's not good either...

If you can find, I'd love to see the juke TO made against Philly in the season-ender. Romo tossed him a quick one at the LOS and TO juked the tackler and looked lightning quick doing it.
I have the youtube flash player bug and can't watch videos on their site or I'd try to find it myself.

Nice Swan Song graphic, BTW.
