They would want Ware.

They wanted Ware for the pick for Calvin Johnson. They'll certainly want him for a proven receiver.

Wasn't something silly like Ware, our 1st and someone else?

Matt Millen is such a gem. :laugh1:

No you don't.

He didn't.

I don't quite see him as bad as his detractors do, but is he still an impact player? There was a time that Roy was the best player on our D. When did that change? Why?

He stopped going for the big hits because it takes a toll on the body. That's all that's changed. I know fans love the big hits, but they add nothing to the game beyond a form tackle.

I'd take Roy, the 2008 1st, and the 2009 1st for Ware.

i stick by my proposition. if the lions do not wish to succomb to my demands, they need not worry about getting ware.

Ware is untouchable, I would flip off Millen and go after Fitz.:D

Ware is a beast....but to get three 1sts, three 2nds, and three 3rds, along with 2 starters..........yes even Ware is expendable.....BTW, all these pics should be within the top 10-12 of each round for the next 3 years....since the Lions will continue to suck.

Honestly only Tono Romo is untouchable IMO.

would Roy for Roy be fair?

No. Your Roy Williams is a Pro Bowler, which must mean he is one of the best in the NFL. Their Roy Williams is not a Pro Bowler.

Detroit should therefore sweeten the deal.

And if you believe that I have to land to sell you in the middle of the Potomac, too!

Come on, even some of us who aren't anti-Roy know he shouldn't be in the Pro Bowl this year.

i think roy is just fine. can't remember what writer said it but at his position there really are not any dominate players in the NFC. not sure i totally agree but it has some merit to the thought.

take in his history and rep - and hell, you can say that for a lot of probowl players. but no, he shouldn't be there this year.

Well trading Roy, would open up a hole in that position anyway. But I just don't buy the argument that at this moment our Roy holds more value than their Roy. We want their Roy, but at least the Detroit fans don't want our Roy.

It's more than the big hits. It's the struggles in coverage, lack of pressure when blitzing and poor tackling form as well.

He isn't the same player he was when he broke into the league.
