I'm still steaming even this morning over this loss and the lack of composure this team has.

Roy Williams lost this game because he is not that smart. I thought the greatness of Bill, liked smart people, Well Bill, all I saw out there was a big bag of ding-dongs thinking they would be a hero and put the big hit on, be on "Jacked-Up" replays, but forgot something important.

Hey Roy, he didn't have the football yet, dip"!!!!!!!! Look first. :bang2: :bang2: :bang2: :bang2: :bang2: :bang2: :bang2: :bang2: :bang2: :bang2: :bang2: :bang2: :bang2:

god this team pisses me off.

Correct me if im wrong but wasnt Roy Williams the one who made 2 or 3 tackles or tripped up Portis early in the game on that goaline stand? Yes he was....

Didnt he make that stop in the backfield late in the game on 3rd and 2 for a loss of a couple yards to make it a 49 yard field goal attempt? Yes he did...

Made alot of big tackles in the game.

Id love to see everyone who critcizes Roy, playing safety in the NFL. Now that would be FUNNY.

He did make some big tackles the last one was huge droping the RB for a loss before the FG. What is interesting to me is that we are acting as if his lack of coverage skills is some big surprise. If you are going to keep 31 on your team this is what we are going to get. We should have had 26 points at this point of the game anyway.

Roy was hardly the biggest problem on the team. Some people think it is chic to bash Roy. Funny thing is, he is probally going to another pro bowl again this year.

If u go back and look it was Newman's fault he bit on the play fake and Roy did everything he could to get from the other side of the field to break it up. Once again Newman got beat and got beat bad

Roy Williams is an Enigma for us. He makes 3 plays for every one he busts but we remember his busts far more than his big plays.

Usually his busts carry more weight.

Gentleman, we have the 5th best offense in the NFL and the 4th best defense....how in the #$%^&^%$%^&%$ are we 4-4?

Probably the kinds of busts we see from our key players...

Roy drops a game changing INT, Henry drops an INT that falls into the hands of the enemy for a score...T.O. drops a game clinching TD pass, somone forgets how to block on a FG and lets someone go untouched during our game clinching field goal chip shot.

The common problem here is lack of concentration. If we can fix that (and I have no freaking idea how you fix that on a football team) we will solve a lot of our oddball problems and the offensive/defensive ranks will justify our record for once.

That would definitely surprise me as his biggest weakness has been exposed. Roy is still one of the elite safeties in the league, but he's not the best, and while he's not Adam Archeletta in coverage, that is his biggest weakness.

On the play in question, I didn't think he went for the big hit as much as he once again didn't play the ball and took a bad angle on the receiver.

I'd never pin the loss on one guy, but the one guy who was horrendous yesterday was Anthony Henry...it was the worst game I've ever seen him play.

Roy Williams didn't lose the game vs. the Commanders, but he also didn't step up and win the game when he had the chance.

Keith Davis our "Free Safety" went for the KO on that play too.

He needs to go for the ball in his position and not the knockout because on that play Roy was going for the KO too and hit Keith more than the WR because Keith knocked the WR out of Roy's direct path.

I actually want Pat Watkins back in, (I never wanted him benched in the first place) because Marcus Coleman is no good and Keith Davis forgets he is not a linebacker when he is out there. Watkins just needs some more time to develop, were getting beat down the deep middle now instead of on long bombs with Watkins out.

It's simple with Roy

Roy within 5 yards of the line of scrimmage = Pro Bowl Safety

Roy out in pass coverage = below average safety

I want Watkins back too. It's obvious Watkins just has to learn, but their is no excuse for Roy to consistantly freak out when the ball is in the air.
No composure at all, just nervous something bad is going to happen which usually does.

All he has to do is relax, look up and see where the ball is headed, and go make a play on it, simple.

Actually, it was the green leprechaun I saw running onto the field who pinched Witten in the butt and caused him to forget to block down on his man on the field goal kick.

One player losing a game? Whatever.

If Brunell had any composure, it could have been really ugly, really quick.

Because Lloyd was killing Henry early, getting deep and WIDE open.
