I can't to see Roy as a Cowboy reciever. He is exactly the type/style reciever that has traditionally had success as a Cowboy. By the end of the year there will be no more talk of disapointment, on future glory. Yea, my glass is half full here. Siked about the season.

i love Roy as our WR cause of romo.. romo will make someone miss in the backfield sprint out right and toss it up to roy, and roy is probably second only to Larry Fitz in going up and getting the ball.. when the ball is in the air it is ROY's ball! and that is perfect for romo's playmaking ability!

how many times did romo toss it up for 81 and he tried to catch it in his stomech. leaving room for a CB or safety to go up and get it instead.

I watched his whole career at Texas. The guy has some of the best hands I've ever seen.

The guy can catch the ball. He's going to surprise a lot of the doubters. I can't wait to see him in there with Felix. When Felix is in the game, our passing game is going to thrive on all fronts.

Not trying to poke fun at Romo here, but Williams has the right body size/wing span to adjust to some of Romo's errant throws that often are behind the receivers on slants. He will also be able to help Romo on jump balls near the corner of the endzone. It should be fun to watch.

Not arguing with you here, but Carolina's Steve Smith is pretty awesome at going up and getting the ball, too.

Goal line fades should consist of RW11 right corner, Marty B left corner. I mean who could defend that???:starspin

That would be a nightmare for teams on the goal line. You can't double-team either one, because you still have Witten to account for, and if you devote to many DB's to coverage, Barber is just going to plow over your interior.

Steve Smith does great for his size. But taller, athletic receivers can go up better simply because they are taller.

It does just look, feel, and seem right having him in a Cowboys uniform. I'm hoping he comes out and destroys Tampa tomorrow.

Roy Williams will have a big year

the 1 thing i know is Romo, will make those throws deep that just leave you saying oh no!! But with Roy, he can do that, Roy will go up and battle for the ball..he will either come down with it, or nobody will..most likely

With TO he wasn't a "get the ball at the highest point" type of WR ever....just a strong WR with speed, and smart moves

Roy just lacks top end speed but unlike TO..he doesn't have too be open 100 percent, uses his body way better than TO, and has better overall body control

he will have a huge yr
