Collins got himself suspended for being stupid, then he came back and played like trash the rest of the year. He earned being cut
Fans whine about losing and the culture, then they whine when the move on from guys who aren’t all in on winning. We need players who want to win and not just get paid

I'm hopeful WR Jalen Tolbert will be a fruitful selection for this team!
How long it might take is the main question to be answered.

Just more evidence at how bad the draft was.

they also wanted the TE Baltimore took right before Cowboys. Maybe they should of moved up ahead of the Ravens there.

What happen to the Cowboys I knew. between not trading in the draft to get the players they want and being cheap in free agency .

Claiming this draft was a miserable flop is nothing to be assumed, until the proof is in the books!
It normally takes three years before that's a known fact. Let's not get ahead of ourselves.

Between Cooper, Collins, and Gregory I’m not super upset about any one move. But losing all three of those guys in one offseason and not using that money on any impact free agents is a step back whichever way you slice it. And the Cowboys weren’t forced into it. They just didnt want to keep them around.

They didnt want, or expected, to lose all three the plan was to sign Gregory.

If we had signed him and assuming the contract was structured the same way as his contract with Denver, then we'd only be sitting on $6.3m at the moment (the La'el money doesn't come off the CAP until 6/1).

Step back..... probably, but 2022 will possibly be a holding season whilst they work out what they've drafted in the last three years, carry over the CAP and then look to 2023. I for one am pleased they have stopped kicking the can by restructuring 'our guys' who are already overpaid and not earning the contracts.

When the Cowboys gave Dak the contract they did I assumed they would go all in for this four year window and then rebuild if it didn’t work out but they are content to tread water indefinitely. After this season they are gonna be talking about possible extensions for Lamb and Diggs, and then Parsons the following year.

It turned out to being a good thing that they didn't trade up. Tolbert is a good one and they were very lucky to get him at 88.

They have a polarized approach to everything; nothing is ever nuanced.

They once were big players in free agency, now they sit on their hands. They once used to move around during the draft and now they are content with sitting and picking where they’re slotted.

It’s like it never dawned on them that they can do a little bit of both.

If we saw Rookie Dak in 2021, then there's a decent shout that we would go all in for 2022. The 49ers game was a rude awakening that that team was good enough. There's enough decent young talent that should be asked to step up.

Every teams (hopefully) has at least one draft pick to extend each year.... the problem's when you pay players that never made a difference ...that's why we've done the right thing in releasing La'el, Jaylon, LVE and we caught a lucky break on Gregory (not so much this years, but the 2023 $16m guaranteed ($22M Dead Money) ....get younger and play players hungry to perform not just turning up to get paid.

If we're going to go 'all-in' a better way of doing it is how the Rams utilise the trade deadline, pick up the veterans for salary relief or lesser picks (which can always get compensation if it doesnt work).

they need to get rid of that Zeke contract also. That’s now the worst contract on the team. Hopefully this coming season will be the last.

I just don’t understand why the coaches continue to let Zeke take Carrie’s away from pollard when it was obvious who was more productive. Isn’t it about winning? Zeke should of been play spot duty

I think they wanted to keep Gregory though at the price he got I’m not hurt he’s gone
The other two were not about money
Collins got a really dumb suspension then came back and played like crap
I think Jerry has finally bought into the fact that attitude of the roster is a close second to talent
They seem to want to build a new culture around big effort guys who seem to love the game
Cooper will hurt because even when he’s not the guy, he attracted attention
Hopefully Tolbert can come in and beat out Washington for the 2. I think Washington/ Wilson was a wash. If we can get by till Gallup is healthy means pretty much Tolbert and Washington played good football
I think the biggest thing to help us overcome the loss of cooper is the run game. This offense works better when we run well and use play action
We also need more of last years draft to make improvement so the can contribute
