likely means dallas extends stay in CAL going forward... could have 3 pre-season games there yearly.

Not directed to WoodysGirl. But who cares? I mean really it will be the first preseason game. IMO sort of odd they would feel the need to announce this like it is a big deal.

The stadium is already being built? Did I miss something?

Also, ANY time we play in that stadium, it'll be at LEAST 40% Cowboys fans. They might as well name it COWBOYS STADIUM WEST.

Not exactly related but whomever is responsible for the logistics of booking Jerry World needs to understand that football should be more important than a music concert.

Coldplay to affect Cowboys' training camp plans

IRVING, Texas -- Two years ago One Direction forced the Dallas Cowboys to alter their training camp plans. This year Coldplay will do the same.

Coldplay has a concert scheduled for AT&T Stadium on Aug. 27, which will force the Cowboys to play one of their first two preseason games in Arlington, Texas.

Because the Cowboys go to Oxnard, California, for training camp, they normally play their first two preseason games on the road and return to Texas for the final two preseason games to make the travel easier.

In 2014, the Cowboys opened the preseason at the San Diego Chargers before returning home to play the Baltimore Ravens. Instead of returning to Oxnard after playing Baltimore, the Cowboys stayed at Valley Ranch to practice and played at the Miami Dolphins on the third week of the preseason.

Meh. He/she knows once Jerry is showed how much he'll make from the concert, he won't care. I still can't believe people still actually think Jerry cares about anything other than making money.

I don't know about that. I think it's kind of appropriate that right before a new season starts a band's there to sing one of their hit songs with the following lyrics.

It's almost like an ode to a certain someone....

When you try your best, but you don't succeed
When you get what you want, but not what you need
When you feel so tired, but you can't sleep
Stuck in reverse

And the tears come streaming down your face
When you lose something you can't replace
When you love someone, but it goes to waste
Could it be worse?

Gu-ide me to his home. I'll ignite the bones. Then I, Dallas Cowboys, have fixed you.

By next year the majority of camp may very well be held at the new Facility in Frisco. I know part of it will be held this year as well

I dunno about you, but I (and most other Cowboys fans I know) will be excited....The first pre-season game is always exciting! since its the first time we get to see em on the field in 7 months.....first game back in L.A. in over 20 years? that place is gonna be packed like Sardines....
