Oh, hell na!

That is it? A second round pick. If Peterson falls to #10 and we could have traded with Houston to get him I will puke.

Texans | Team to move down in draft
Fri, 27 Apr 2007 10:45:45 -0700

Neil Stratton, of Inside the League, has learned that the Houston Texans, as rumored previously, will swap first-round draft picks with the Denver Broncos in this year's NFL Draft Friday, April 27, in exchange for Denver's second-round pick, No. 56 overall. With the Texans' first- and second-round picks, the team is considering four players: Utah FS Eric Weddle, Ohio State WR Anthony Gonzalez, USC WR Dwayne Jarrett and Florida S Reggie Nelson.

I would call Houston real quick and tell them we'd give our 2nd and throw in a 6th.

So the 56th pick is all it takes to move from 21 to 10?

That is what I am saying, if that is it we should have pulled this move.
I am pissed off if this is true and Peterson gets to #10.

According to the widely used chart Houston should have gotten Denver's 3rd as well to even things out but maybe they decided to take whatever they could get and run with it.

10th = 1300 points

21st = 800 points

56th = 340 points

With that trade Houston comes up 160 points short, while Denver's 3rd rounder is worth - you guessed it - 160 points.

I don't know the validity of this, but I was watching coldpizza or one of those shows and they were doing mock draft. One of the guys grabbed his cell phone and pretended to be talking to a club and said that Denver is trading up with Houston to take Willis. Not sure if this is where this came from or what.

If AD reaches to the 10 spot I think Dallas will make a move to get him. I'd give up MBIII, Julius Jones and Polite and throw in a months supply of ESPN the magazine...

:laugh2:

If this were true, that would mean Green bay would probably move up to grab peterson. And that would leave the door open for Dallas to take Marshawn Lynch if they desired. But knowing Jerry, if he saw a chance to get a local kid in Peterson, and the best back in the draft, it wouldn't surprise me if he went for it.
