This is rumor only.

If he's under contract, they can't publically say anything.

Has anyone else heard Lamar Miller's name thrown around?

What's his contract status?

He looked pretty good last year in Miami, with nearly 1400 yards (1099, 275) , 9 TDs, and 5.1 ypc.
I also think he's comfortable in a zone scheme.
Only 24 years old.

Where's the rumor from?

I am big fan of Miller...but for whatever reason, the fins dont trust him to be a bellcow...I don't get it..but they don't give him enough carries

Before he was injured I thought Moreno was the better back, but Miller would not be a bad pickup.

1. Lamar Miller
2. Damien Williams
3. Jay Ajayi
4. Mike Gillislee
5. LaMichael James

I could see them maybe willing to trade off Miller if they think Ajayi can be the man. That's a nice stable of running backs.

I heard it on the local radio today (not sure if it was The Fan or ESPN local) from rumblings at Valley Ranch. The also mentioned to a less degree, the back from Tampa.

Please don't read too much into it.
It's probably just offseason buzz.

I can't see them trading him away

I agree
I'm still a bit shocked we didn't use our 4th on Ajayi. Was never on board for him super early, but the late 4th would've been really low risk.

Now I see that Miller is in his 4th year and this doesn't seem far-fetched

He is on the last year of his deal. They might not be interested in signing him to a long term deal, so why not try and get something for him now.

I've read that he's bulked up to around 220 now. They still question if he can hold up carrying the ball more than 20 times a game. But here, he wouldn't have to.

I'd give up Leary and Mo for him. Or Leary and a 5th.

Martin?

We liked him during the draft process. I also heard rumors during the season we were interested in a trade

Sure...sounds great ...too bad nobody operates that way in the nfl

Yeah, the name temporarily slipped me. He did have the injury ....not sure if he's the same as his rookie year. He might even get cut

He reminds me some of Stacy, but I'd prefer Stacy....and Miller over both.

Off-season buzz is a funny thing. Some writer or reporter mentions a name or team or some type of hypothetical situation and it becomes "buzz". Just look at that Chris Johnson "buzz". That whole thing came about because a TMZ reporter( LOL), asked him if he would like to play in Dallas. Of course he was gonna say yes, he's out of a job right now, any team the reporter would have mentioned would have gotten a yes answer from CJ.

This is rumor only.

If he's under contract, they can't publically say anything.

Has anyone else heard Lamar Miller's name thrown around?

I also think he's comfortable in a zone scheme.
Only 24 years old.

He started All 16 games for them last season with a 5.1 ypc. It seems odd that they would want to trade him.

Maybe they don't.
As you know, takes two to make a trade.
Just because the name has been thrown around inside Valley Ranch doesn't mean either side has true, legit interest.

Man, I really like Martin. He's had problems staying healthy but in a rotation, he would be fine.

depending on what they are asking for him, I'd definitely like that move. He is a player the team liked coming out of the draft.
