Rumor on Eagles Forum they will sign Ziggy Ansah

Several weeks ago the Eagles cleared some salary CAP room by converting Zach Ertz's salary into a bonus. This saved them about $5 million in salary cap room for 2019 and initially looked like it was a move to extend Wentz since they were already about $19 million under the cap. Fast forward to the current day and the only move they have made is to sign Zach Brown for $3 million a year so they are still left with about $22.5 million in CAP space. Zach Brown and Malik Jackson wipe out the comp pick for Jordan Hicks. However, the Eagles are still lined up for a 3rd round comp pick for losing Nick Foles and a 3rd or 4th round pick for losing Golden Tate. Some Eagles' fans think they are waiting to Wednesday to sign Ansah so he does not affect the Foles and Tate comp pick.

Also, Zach Brown and Malik Jackson were cut. They don't count toward the comp pick formula, and we've made no moves this offseason that affect out comp picks (Curry was cut, Djax traded for, Howard traded for)
