This makes sense to me and I'm not just talking about Murray. Name recognition does us no good if you're on the field playing 75%. We've always been terrible at knowing when to let go of players and/or letting go of players to get value in return, generally speaking.

My hunch says JJ will go after McFadden. He wanted him when he came out of college. I wouldn't be surprised if they're having discussions with another team. Why would this stuff be leaked out on game day? They must be that confident in striking a deal

Leshoure isn't a right kinda guy and it isn't even close. Ingram has been hurt hasn't he? And McFadden is hurt more than Demarco and is probably more than we can afford. Really not sure who we would target.

I don' see any NFC team trading us RB help. It would have to be an AFC team that is under achieving or rebuilding. That's were I come up with Jones-Drew. That team won't be good for many years and I'm sure he wants out. He would probably jump at the chance and be more than willing to restructure.

McFadden is about as injury prone as Murray. He's played in 57 games in his last 5 NFL seasons, that's less than 12 per season on average. Why would you prefer him over Murray?

The guy's averaged around 150 carries per season. Yeah, that's the production you want.
