In 8 weeks. Not 8 games, but 8 weeks. He can practice in 6 weeks.

Broaddus and fisher are both saying the trainers want romo to go to IR.

No one actually knows the front office, coaches or Romo's position.

I imagine showers is cut tomorrow and sent to the ps either way.

If Romo has any chance of being available earlier than week 8, it makes no sense to put him on IR.

According to PFT (and I pause here for laughter) the rule change allows teams to make that designation after the player has been on injured reserve for six weeks, at which point he’s eligible to return to practice although he can’t play until eight weeks have passed.

That would have him coming back the week after the bye for game 8 vs. Philly.

Even if Dallas doesn't have to designate the return, they actually are and they've effectively already used it if this is the case.

If that does happen, it's Dak or bust this year. Forget any hold the fort and "when Romo comes back" talk.
