Jerry Jones has yet to prove himself without a strong backboned coach there to reel him in ala BP and Jimma. Many Folks want to give Jerry a pass since he hired BP after so many dreadful seasons and what not, but BP only lasted 4 years.
Last years draft had many of BP's guys in the Loop taking care of the draft board.. (re: Ireland) This year Jerry Jones apparently doesn't have the Sane voice in the back of the room telling him to bide his time and let it come to him. Should Jerry Jones pull the trigger on a deal for McFadden, it will have implications to Jerry's "Football Expertise" for another 10 seasons to come.

Now all that being said, I'm not saying Jerry hasn't learned something in the last few years, I'm just saying he needs to prove to many of us fans that he is capable of being a "Football Guy" instead of just owning the team and saying he is. I, for one, have been let down way to often since '93.

It's just ridiculous that these writers get this big a kick out of fantasizing about Parcells duping the turnip-truck-riding dufus Jerry when Jerry has categorically denied even being interested in it.

Yep, they're just waiting for the big bad NJ conman to fleece the southern yokel rube. Sad thing is some of the fan base is buying right into the madness.
