Just a thought. Could Julius Jones' days be numbered? No doubt that MBIII can handle the job. He blocks better. He is more elusive and in my opinion he runs harder. Tyson Thompson as the change of pace/third down back? I just don't see JJ adding anything to the position that MBIII doesn't already bring to the table. Opinions?

I don't think that will be the case but I will say all players are tradable if the price is right. Just ask Hershel Walker

LOL, I would trade anyone on the team for the price that Hershel got. Well, just about anyone..

1. I think MBIII is the better overall RB, but he is not more elusive then JuJo.

2. Have you been listening/reading ANYTHING Parcells has said the last 2 years? It will be running back by committee. Why then would he trade away part of the committee?

3. Burmafrd is gonna bring the wrath of satan down upon you. Or would it be "up" upon you?

It would be easier to trade a back that is part of a tandem than a guy who is your sole RB. I don't think Jones is on the block right now but should the right offer be made then yes I could see Dallas parting ways.

Be gentle with me...it's my first thread...lol.

No argument with the committee...just changing the members.

And we can agree to disagree on the elusivity (damn is that a word?) of JJ. IMO he runs into piles way too much and gains dead yards. MBIII seldom just runs into the pile without picking up something...yeah, I know the line is a part of the problem.

JJ should be given one more season to prove himself. There isn't much that can be done about him now, anyways, so might as well let him attempt to prove himself for one more season. Either one he will increase his value to the team, and be worth more in a trade, or Parcells leaves and the new regime comes in and moves players around. Either way I doubt he is the long term answer you are looking for at the RB spot. Injury prone this early is not what you want.

One thing for sure to get something decent in a trade you have to be willing to part with a decent player. I see alot of posting around here were we want to trade an average player or older player for a very good player well it does not work that way.

Well, it might be a "dee dee dee" thread but from the comments it doesn't seem too far fetched. Hell, two years ago how far fetched was it to have TO on our roster?

I'd guess a 4th or 5th rounder....his injury history would come in question.

Your thread is certainly no worse than others I've seen around here...and I've seen a bunch of them.
