Ickey Woods hasn't played since 1991 so I don't know where you got that. Also, I think the clear answer is to look for a RB in the draft. The talent level between a rookie and one of these guys (except for maybe Peterson) will be little to none, and a rookie would probably be much cheaper. And I think the 3rd and 4th round rookies won't be too much of a drop off from the 1st rounders.

Ickey Woods refers to a joke running around here. If we signed him.....@ least we would have free cold cuts:D

I prefer drafting Gordon or Gurley. There are a few we could get in the 2nd or 3rd round also.
Maybe one of the lower level sleeper types as a FA to compete or be a backup though in FA.

But now, as I wasn't before, I would not complain if we get AP. I mean I wouldn't have complained before, but preferred not to bring in AP as long as Murray was a option.

That's a pretty good list. I think there's a few in there who could put up good numbers behind this YOUNG offensive line. I think there's a few who would certainly like to try!

Bring Trent in with a tub of hydroxycut and see if he can get it together.

I like Pierre Thomas on a one year deal

Swear To God, I wanted to mention this guy a few days ago....but there has been some tension here lately and I notice a lot of peoples' opinions have been getting ridiculed....so I decided I didn't need the headache. But I agree with you. I actually would've said Ridley, but he is coming off a pretty big injury, no?

Why can't we add a guy like Pierre Thomas and draft a guy too in a mid to later round. These two guys plus what we have and see how things shake out. As the season nears, see who gets released and continue to try to upgrade. Maybe the RB position this year is going to be a moving target and we just have to keep adjusting.
It's not the perfect situation, but these things happen in the salary cap era. If you think we have it bad, just remember that some teams have to do this with their QB position.

I like your idea, Amish Cowboy!
