How do you know? There is no way to tell unless you TRY and replace Murray. Heck the Cowboys didn't even TRY. Thats the problem.

McFadden is not a replacement. I don't think he is a viable choice to be our number 1 back.

Great logic.

How do you know that some guy we get in the 7th or UDFA isn't going to be able to replace him?

There were some that were close such as Coleman who was a Murray clone with breakaway speed. Granted he may not have been able to reproduce his production from last year but at least would have been someone who could have fit in nicely.

Wow a Murray clone with breakaway speed. We could have gotten him if we wanted to even if it meant trading away future draft picks. Thus this thought that anyone can run behind this oline is just silly. That frame of mind is gonna be tested this year and if it fails the whole season will fail with it.

Talk about logic...first you said Murray can't be replaced. Now your saying we can replace him with a 7th rounder or a UDFA. Make up your mind dude.

Gentleman the horse has left the barn. The only way we can realistically expect to improve our current running back situation if via a veteran free agent signing. It appears what we have is what we have. I'm sure there will be a undrafted free agent who makes it to camp, but that will be someone who plays special teams in some way shape or form. I think there was a plan to draft someone but that someone was gone and they followed their board. Whether that is a good or bad thing remains to be seen.

refuses to address initial point. relies on semantic argument.

these are the hallmarks of someone who can't support their proposition, dude.

Sorry to disagree with you. But if your happy with runningback situation we have now than fine. If you think we can't replace Murray than fine. Now you also stated we can replace him with a 7th or a UDFA.

Murray was the reason why we went to the playoffs last year. If the Cowboys think they should replace Murray with a 7th rounder or a UDFA than I'd have to say I lost a little faith in them.
