Great Vid. N Geez Dorsett had players ahead of him and he still flew by them. Amazing.

I can't wait until we can make legit videos like this about current running backs... or quarterbacks for that matter.

What we need is a RB/QB that has the 'career Cowboy' feel to them... like they aren't just a temporary fix or one season away from release. That's been missing for a few years now.

The sad thing is I don't think we'll get that until Parcells leaves.

That sums it up for me, I will always love the team, root for the team, but for those reasons, somethings not quite right.

I can't argue with this. I post this without even looking at the highlights you posted, but I know what you speak of without even looking. We do have one legit special player, and he has had problems and is in my signature. Rest asured, he is the special player you ask about in this post.

You can't get everything you want, no we don't have a QB or RB that can give us the highlights that you want. But hopefully, we have enough to grind out wins, cause alot of teams have won rings without what you speak of.

Yes, teams with gamebreaking QBs or RBs are fun to look at, but I propose that we have another skill position that will be just as fun to look at. Get your popcorn and enjoy the show.

The Cowboys won't have that QB or RB until they get that dominant o-line blocking for them.

It all starts in the trenches, and the cowboys have been losing in the trenches for years. The problem is, you can't just throw high draft choices at it for a quick fix.

I don't what they should do to fix the o-line, but I know they won't have good QB/RB play until they get it fixed.

I disagree with that to an extent jay cee. Please tell me about the OL that Walter Payton had in the late 70's and early 80's. Please tlel em about Archie Manning's great OL in the 70's.

There is such a thing as individual talent. Yeah, an OL helps a lot, but you're advocating one solution when there are easily more than 1.

A great OL doesn't make a so so QB or RB great any more than a great QB or RB makes a so so OL great.

Just a suggestion but let's return to the early 90's formula and work to acquite all 3. We are probably closer at RB than OL or QB.

Yeah, you're right about that Hos. I stand corrected. I was mixing mixing winning championships with individual greatness.

You can win with a solid RB/QB tandem behind a great o-line, but that's not what we were discussing.

I did not pay that much attention to Manning, but I don't remember him being all that great. I just kind of lumped him in the same category as Dan Pastorini with the Oilers.

Had skills, but couldn't do much, because he had absolutely no talent around him.

Archie was a great QB on a horrible team. Tragic actually.

He's not in hall of fame is he?

What other players do you think had hall of fame talent that was squandered on horrible teams?

No, he isn't.

Don Meredith is one that comes to mind right away.
