Is this the season people start acknowledging Russell Wilson is more than a product of a running system?

Wilson has the 2nd highest QB passer rating in NFL history -- he is 1 spot behind Rodgers and 1 spot ahead of Romo.

He career QB rating is now 100.2.

This season his rating is 106.2 -- better than Tom Brady, Aaron Rodgers, and Big Ben.

I hate the Seahawks but I like Russell. He seems like a good guy off the field which matters to me.

Good post. I've thought it's been laughable that people bash him. QB play speaks for itself.

If a strong running game could produce a Russell Wilson, it's awfully damn hard to figure out why more teams don't go all-in on building a strong running game. Why wouldn't you? Rather than hope for hitting the jackpot with an elite QB, why not just build a monster OL, get a good back, and let anybody who can take a snap produce like Russell Wilson?

He's either good, or a strong running game produces a strong passing game.

Probably a bit of both. He is a good QB and the strong running game brings out the best of him.

Romo has always been a good QB and we saw last season that a strong running game made him even better.

Weeden's rating was also over 100 this year and he was sold out.

I have always liked him as they said he was too short etc.
But he is smart and that makes up for lack of size.

Outside of Tate he has had very bad WRs. They lean heavily on the run game, but as far as evaluating him his lack of playmakers cancels that out

Eh, I've always liked Baldwin. I even think Kearse would flourish in another offensive system.

I usually don't say this about players, I've always found it to be a little silly, but Wilson has that "It" factor to him. Some of his late game heroics are something else. Also, with how it has looked for QBs lately in the NFL, he may not have even peaked yet.

Another huge day.

Last 4 games, 16 TDs, 0 INTs. Rating of 138 or better in each of the last 4 games.
