I was listening to Mike and Mike this morning in the car. They had RW11 on with them at the SuperBowl. They started talking about Detroit. RW11 just blurps out...."It was a rough year for them, Detroit is better than 0-16, they practice alot harder than Dallas"..............

This comment really turned my stomach. I hate our coaches. Excuse me know while I go puke.

Well isn't that embarassing.

But, all that Detroit practicing hasn't helped them execute any better than our soft practices have.

Well, that's nice to hear.

What do you expect though if Pacman's wearing Simpson (or whatever) pajamas during practice?

My skin is starting to crawl.

True or not. RW11 seems to say alot of things like this.

He is a mild version of TO. He has more than once said things he should have kept in house.

I wonder in what other ways we should emulate the worst team in NFL history?

I was fixing to go off on RW11 until I realized that he is 100% correct.

Thats just freaking pathetic that an 0-16 team actually practices harder than we do.

We won 9 games simply off talent alone, very little preparation for gameday.

Reeves better clean this crap up because Coach StayPuff sure the hell isnt!!!

That's not the first time he's said that. I remembers someone else posting it.

Besides to me, it's about practicing smarter, not necessarily harder.

I'm glad that he said it.

And I'm glad that Owens and Romo criticized the offense.

It's stuff that needs to be said for anything to change.

Going the politically correct route would simply get us more of the same.

If getting called-out in public is what it takes for this coaching staff to do a better job, so be it.

You practice how you play.

It's that simple. Leadership, distractions, all that stuff goes out the window.

You practice how you play. If this team has soft practices, that is the root of the problem. It's that simple. And this is the main reason I want Wade no where near Dallas.

I wonder if Roy would enjoy it if the coaches call out that he's been an overpaid, overrated, primadonna WR for practically all of his career.

Garrett is probably one of the more overrated coaches I've seen in my lifetime, but Roy is another one of our special little snowflakes who wants to "keep it real" as long as he's the one pointing fingers and not on the receiving end of it.

I'm not sure the Cowboys do either.

I agree.

Everyone wants the try-hard, intense worker dude, but if he's a dumb***, then he won't be any good on the field either.

The Cowboys play this year was a great indicator of alot of players not playing smart....and in too many games to count, not playing hard.

Not necessarily true. With Detroit and their "hard" practices, I guess they were just practicing the wrong stuff.

A lot goes into a successful outcome and practice can affect things but is not the ultimate indicator of how well one performs on gameday.

There are far too many stories of workout warriors that don't show up when the lights are brightest and too many stories of those who practice like crap but are true gamers.

No one has the magic elixir to success. That's why there are few repeat champions.

So let's temper all that nonsense about how our coaches suck because "Detroit's practices are harder".

That is a freakin joke. They did not win ONE game last year. Look at what all those tough practices earned them.

Yeah. He said it in a clip at the end of the year, too.

This was a quote in support of Detroit more than an attack on the Cowboys it sounds like. And it's not like the team that practices hardest wins more, anyway.
