A friend of mine, (not real close but a friend none the less) and a fellow Cowboys fan, was brutally murdered in his home at about 4:30 Sunday morning.
Which is very scary and unusual for the rural setting that we live in.
Police say they do not think it was a burglary gone bad or a home invasion, which sounds like somebody targeted him for this.
Throat sliced, and multiple stab wounds in the chest.
Since he retired, he would call me every month or so out of the blue and act like he was T.O., or PacMan, or Tank, or Jerry.
He might call and say, "Hey, this T.O., I can't catch the ball anymore, whats wrong with me, .. my coaches all hate me, and I think my QB might be gay, ... can you help me?"
Or, "Hey, this is PacMan, I was making it rain and now everyone is mad at me, what did I do wrong?"
"Hey, this is Tank, .. you want some guns, I got some guns, you need guns, I can get you all the guns you want. How many you want, .. wanna go shoot some guns with me?"
He called once and said, "this is Jerry Jones, I'm building a new stadium, it's gonna be big, wait until you see it, .. you'll love it!, .. did I tell you it's gonna be big!, I'm rich *****!"
He always made me laugh, .. I can't believe he's gone.
