IRVING – After trading up in the fifth round, the Cowboys selected Pittsburgh wide receiver Devin Street, the Panthers’ all-time leading receiver.
Street carries 190 pounds on a lanky 6-foot-4 frame. He ran a 4.53 at the combine but reduced it to a 4.46 at Pittsburgh’s pro day.
Street caught at least 50 passes in each of his three seasons as a starter.

“I didn’t want to be that type of player, in the spotlight all the time. I just wanted to go about my business and do my work.”
