SAN ANTONIO – A bar owner has reportedly dropped a $1 million lawsuit against Dallas Cowboys defensive tackle Henry Melton that claimed the former Texas standout bit him during an incident late last season.
Melton, who was with the Chicago Bears when the alleged incident occurred at a North Texas bar, countersued. The Dallas Morning News reported Wednesday that, according to court documents, both parties have agreed to dismiss all filings against each other.
Melton signed a one-year contract with the Cowboys in March.
