SAN ANTONIO – Free agent defensive end Anthony Spencer is visiting the New York Giants today, according to numerous reports.
Spencer, 30, recorded a career-high 11 sacks in 2012 for the Cowboys, but he played in only one game last season because of a knee injury that required surgery.
Spencer visited the Washington Commanders last week.
ESPNDallas.com reported that free agent defensive tackle Henry Melton is scheduled to visit Dallas on Monday. The Cowboys are in need of a defensive tackle to anchor their 4-3 defense after 2012 sacks leader Jason Hatcher signed last week with the Commanders.
