No, I see him more as a versatile strong safety, that plays better closer to the line of scrimmage, not a center field type that Reed was.Lemme guess, you think he’s Ed Reed.

Yeah, precisely. That was Bob Sanders. If you wanna say Jamal Adam’s you’re effectively saying the same thing. No, I see him more as a versatile strong safety, that plays better closer to the line of scrimmage, not a center field type that Reed was.

Bob Sanders nor Adams were good in coverage, Downs is far superior. Sanders also was so undersized that he struggled staying healthy.
Sanders was never healthy and couldn’t hold upSanders was infinitely better in coverage than Adams. Bringing health into it is irrelevant. We’re talking about on the field playing comps, not health history.
Sanders was never healthy and couldn’t hold up
so was Lee and LVE but that did not alter the fact that they were excellent playersSanders was never healthy and couldn’t hold up
No, I don't consider players excellent who are unavailable.so was Lee and LVE but that did not alter the fact that they were excellent players
man, really, there really is no reasoning with youNo, I don't consider players excellent who are unavailable.
Availability is extremely important, doesn’t matter how good you are if you are spending more time in the training room then the fieldman, really, there really is no reasoning with you
you seem to be unable to differentiate between TALENT and HEALTHAvailability is extremely important, doesn’t matter how good you are if you are spending more time in the training room then the field
Availability should be considered when drafting early.you seem to be unable to differentiate between TALENT and HEALTH
Availability has nothing to do with talent
you should thank me for this tutorial
Talent means little if they can use it in the fieldyou seem to be unable to differentiate between TALENT and HEALTH

It was actually the 2nd Bills SB that Washington was keyI remember Charlie Waters and Cliff Harris and Woody
and even James washington who won us in a lot of ways our last SB
Those that do not think Free Safety is so important need to check other SB winners
and notice how many of them had a top FS
That is very high praise, Troy was one of the best to play that role and Hamilton is an elite safety in today’s game.Watched Downs some more...he doesn't really play single high much bc he isnt asked to but if were talking about ceiling I honestly think Troy P. isnt a bad comp.
Elite in the box, plus blitzer and is really good in coverage on the short and intermediate.
His instincts and click and close ability is special. I 100% think his ability warrants a top 15 pick. I think he is a better prospect than Hamilton who I believe has been an all pro.
when drafting of courseAvailability should be considered when drafting early.
If you cant stay on the field it doesnt matter how good you are.
