Safety positions worry me this year...

been a while since I felt like this over our safety position...doesn't look good. Our strength lies up front so you guys feel like were gonna get passed on a lot this year?

pretty sure no one has said that for years, people have been *****ing about roy for as long as I could remember.

I was sad to see him go, though I admit I like not hearing the complaints any longer.

everything indicates sensebaugh is a huge coverage upgrade, and hamlin is capable, assuming that one year wasn't a fluke.

Our run support scares me a lot more than our potential pass coverage.

regardless of what people say about roy, he was pretty darn good against the run.

Why would you be any more worried about the Cowboys' safety position this year than previous years?

It's doubtful the coverage from the strong safety position could be substantially worse than it's been.

This thread is a complete joke... Sorry but the addition of Gerald Sensabough and Mike Hamlin just made the Cowboys better at the position.

Thats one position I dont worry about. I worry more about the o-line, WR, or OLB.

I'm pretty sure Sens is the SS.

Either that, or have them play interchangeable roles.

I agree though, I've always thought that Hamlin was more of a SS.

Our secondary is stronger than in years past. More depth, too.

Having said that, our young corners and safeties will be tested A LOT.
They might not recover until late season, and that worries me.

Looks like a lot of linebackers will have to help out more in coverage in the middle.

I won't deny it, I have my doubts about almost every position in the secondary. But I feel a lot better now that Roy Williams is no longer a Cowboy.
