Maybe America's "bandwagon team", LOL. What is this all about, anyway? Millionaires surviving a hurricane? Give me a break. The Saints are still the Saints, this short-lived fascination with them will soon be over. At least they beat the Eagles. When I hear Dan Patrick pushing this over and over, I turn off the radio.

They can call themselves what ever they want but it does not make it so. When you say Americas Team people know who you are talking about.

Exactly right you are. It's amusing how the press & others are pushing this, though. Another example of Cowboy hate in my opinion.

Embrace the hatred. They can try and steal the nickname all they want. It is theft proof.

Ever notice no other team nickname is coveted by the fans or team? Just that one.

Beautiful.

I really couldn't care less about the "Americas Team" tag, .. I never cared much for it to begin with.

It's not like we named ourselves that, or asked to be called that.

If people want to refer to us that way, it is a compliment, .. if they don't, who cares ?

I always kind of liked, ...

Myself I think the Saints will win. If Duce can come out running the ball as he did this past week I think the Saints will leave Chicago and will be headed for Miami. Bears defense has shown some weakness over the last few games and I don't think they can put up the points the saints are capable of putting up. As for like or disliking the saints I'm pretty neutral

I'm rooting for da Bears. A loss will probably crush all the hurricane victims though. Such a shame. LOL. The Saints have nothing to do with that disaster. Is this supposed to be some kind of "feel good story"? Yuck.

I agree that one thing has nothing to do with the other. I will say I think Payton did a great job of going in there replacing 25 players on that roster and was able to have this type of success. Just from a pure football stand point this was a great job. In the end I’m pulling for the Colts because I would like to see Manning get the monkey off his back once and for all

Because the press is trying to annoint the Saints the new "America's Team". If you don't care, why bother to comment.

I have a feeling the Chicago defense steps up big time this weekend. My gut says Brees may not finish the game.

I also easily forsee Grossman having his 1 in 5 game glimpse of promise against the Saints secondary especially if they are operating in a 10 or more point deficit.

My diagnosis Chicago 31 Saints 10, who dat gonna enjoy their offseason?

In the AFC I think Manning and Dungy finally get a poetic revenge over Brady and for drama's sake Vinetari will be the difference maker.

Indianapolis 24 New England 21, the dynasty ends as it began, by the foot of a clutch kicker.

I realize that was the greatest victory in franchise history and that with that mighty triumph over the Philadelphia Eagles and their backup quarterback the 10-6 Saints have now positioned themselves with exactly two more lifetime playoff victories than the five year old Houston Texans.

Enjoy it but the yawns you hear are our disenchantment with the immaturity to handle the success that has by tradition been foreign to the likes of Saints fans, they have exhausted all intial good will and you continue to prove and reinforce that point with such posts.

Right now America's team are the Patriots. And I hate them but the reality is that if they win this year, they are probably the most successful dynasty in NFL history.

I hate to say it, but I think you're right. Since the Salary Cap era began, I thought the days of the Dynasty were gone. Belichick & Co. have created the template on the modern dynasty. As much as I can't stand the Pats, I have to give them props in that area.

Yup..and guess which team has 2 first round picks this year. Pats get Seattle's pick for the Branch deal. So they dump Branch and his salary and get a receiver that puts up equal numbers for 1/2 the salary. Billijerk is a genius, it's confirmed.
