Have an old Army Buddy that was from NOLA. Beginning of the season he was lighting up facebook threads with saints going whoop this team and that and who dat posts everywhere.

Now...don't hear a peep from him concerning the saints.

Kind of like how he never wore any saints gear or pimped them way back in the late 80's early 90's.

Funny stuff going on down there.

The New Orleans Saints don't feel like a team that is in the thick of a division race, and they aren't acting like one, either.

Per NFL Network's Ian Rapoport, Saints head coach Sean Payton is starting to audit the underachieving roster following a 41-10 home loss to the Carolina Panthers that dropped the Saints to 5-8.

Dropped them to a tie for 1st at 5-8. That division is so sad.

I think this is the biggest shocker of this season how far the Saints have fallen. I did not see them as a favorite for the SB but I expected they would be around the top of the NFC
