Jeez these is why i hate natuarl disaters, they get passes for everything

I think that city should get a pass on the blackout rule for at least a few years. How do they expect the same sales when half the city's population is gone?

why are they worried about sales. DO you really think 24 hours is gonna make a differnce on a preseason game? To me, this is pointless rule bending, for a team that is in a city that gets alot of free help, and yet there residents dont want to come back, and refuse to live houston.

The game is not even in New Orleans. In fact, it's closer to Dallas than NO.

If you live within so many miles of N.O. it wouldn/t matter what you had. If it's blacked out in your area you wouldn't get it.

Are you sure that's right for this game? It's not being played in NO.

I thought that counted it as a 'home' game for the Saints even though it's not in Nawleans.

I know, but the blackout rule is usually for people within 70 or so miles of the game. What sense does it make to blackout NO when it is about a 4 hour drive from Shreveport?

Pretty stupid to punish New Orleanians if you ask me.

Shreveport/Bossier City is full of rabid Cowboy fans... much more so than the Saints...

The problem is that they are charging a very hefty price for these tickets, so there are quite a few left...

Doesn't each team set it's "Local" area? When I was in Richmond if the Nationals where playing a Nationaly televised game and didn't sell it out I couldn't watch it no matter what Chn it was on (local or ESPN) because we where considered it's "Local" market..... Not that I really cared about them anyway. :)
